There were significant complexities on the site, including archaeological issues, proximity to a Luas line, adjacent to Wolfe Tone Park and desire for a high quality architectural scheme to make a statement at this strategic location. The planning application required a high degree of co-ordination of the design team, engagement with various departments in the local authority, and innovative solutions to reach the desired outcome.
